It's a stupid cartoon; it's made for young(er) kids. Doesn't have a bad message though, be good to others / be concious of the enviroment... what's so wrong with that? Capt. Planet does have a mullet though, which is a no-no.

I loved it when I was younger, didn't see anything wrong with it then and don't particularly see anything wrong with it now. Propaganda? Hardly, and if it is then it's not exactly spreading a negative message.

For me, it went like this: Star Wars to He-Man to G.I Joe to Batman/Ninja Turtles to X-Men. (And there was a brief flirtation with Dick Tracy in there, somewhere) That's pretty much the course of my childhood.
