KH has nearly no violence, or do you consider stars popping up over an opponent after a hit violent? The only time KH ever had blood was in Port Royal where we see Will drop a coin with blood, and the blood looked like dried paint.

V2D, stars are the animation effects that are a cause of one or a couple of the keyblades. With the Lionheart and Ultima Weapon you see fire and electricity in place of those "stars".

And once again, swords in the game (aside from keyblades supposedly) are sharp and cut the crap out of sh*t, Sephiroth and Cloud's swords being two primary examples.

And "keys" are used as a variety of things. Such ignorant utterance is expected from ones who know little to jack shit about the KH franchise.
