OMG.
Its true. Have you ever read the issue? Xavier and Magneto were straining their powers and all they managed was to register as a small tingle on the edge of Galactus' consciousness. He just sent a (very) low level energy blasts that direction which was blocked by Magneto's forcefield. However, the blast did very little damage to the area. Countless mutants have thrown much stronger blasts than what Galactus threw there.
Magneto is no this:
or this...
This stunt left out in deep space unprotected as it destroyed her space-ship. She can only survive a few minutes out in space unaided as it was established between Uncanny 160 and 165 (one of those issues). This stunt came from Uncanny 165. In Uncanny 166, we see her floating aimlessly in deep space in the last moments of her life when the Acanti find her and heal her. Here is the scan in Uncanny 166 that gives a flashback to what happened after this scene in 165:

I know right,
Magneto couldn't even do that with a machine.
Infact, in that Magneto war arc, he even sated that without the machine, he was forced to channel more energy than he could handle, and that's why it felt like drills in his eyeballs.
In that same arc, another discrepency was that Storm was pictured as being "cold" as well as not being able to Stop his Storm.
Is being immune to elements also "beyond my weather manipulating abilities"?
Goes to show how she was written down.
Storm is now cold 🙄
I guess they all had to appear to sturggle against the guy.
Such bullshit.
Everyone should be written to their optimal levels, not down
Leave the holocaust survivors alone, they've been through enough!
And I've said this many a-time, if Galactus really wanted that shield down it would of been down.
Also, I vote not strongest to anything that's only been used once or twice as they usually have crappy showings. Especially Juggernaut's forcefield, which only blocked webbing and an exploding fuel truck and was wrongly stated to be the only source of Juggernaut's durability.

Superman, Wonder Woman, and Juggernaut have force fields?
Wonder Woman has the impenetrable Aegis shield when she crosses her Bracers. Juggernaut has a momentum-sapping forcefield. Some have written Superman as having a bioelectric aura which grants him his durability.
