But, obviously they CAN, DID, and, therefore, SHOULD, given the opportunity to save lives.

I wasn't sure if you meant just one person or a group working together. I also didn't know if this was a micro, stellar or super massive black hole. To my knowledge, only micro and stellar black holes move about a galaxy while super massive black holes are located in the galactic center and are stationary.......Unless 2 or more galaxies are colliding.

Edit: What Storm joke? 😛

group efforts ar ok and this would be a steller black hole made from a star roughly the same size of ours

srsly guyz, not funny, lando knows what he says

One doesn't get stellar black holes from stars the size of our sun ermm

But nonetheless the presence of any single one of the top geniuses from Marvel or DC earth would be enough to avert the disaster.

tomato tomato, the question is how and would they have enought time. A black hole of that size wouldn't even have to be remotely close to our system to start sucking it in

Its been said before, but black holes really are jobbers in comic books. Any herald level character can handle one, and big blue literally can "handle" one.

Reed has inventions designed to solve any possible problem. Hell this is a guy who built a machine that translated scents from an alien world into and audio/video presentation in English within 4 panels.

i think dealing with a black hole would be a bit more challenging, heck by the time they detect it, it would already be sucking in the system
