Yes it did.

All I remember was

Spoiler:
the girls working with the drugs were naked, but that's just so they wouldn't steal any. It's not like it was sexual nudity....

that was like shown four times as well, add in the women who were massaging that dude in thailand and Richie's girlfriend/attorney.

Spoiler:
But you never see his attorney's stuff though, right? It just shows them totally getting at it.....but no money shot...

theres a scene of him in bed with her when his partner calls asking for help there is a brief shot of her breast aweswome movie regardless in my top ten of all time

I saw it again this evenin', because

A) I have too much time on my hands
B) I wasn't quite sure of my opinion on the damn thing the first time
C) I don't mind spending 拢5 so Scott can make more movies

I'm still unsure about American Gangster though. Was it better than your stock gangster/drug pusher film aka. Blow? Yes, quite a bit better.

Is it good enough to be put on the pile with Goodfellas, The Godfather I & II, Scarface, Underworld? I don't think so. It didn't appeal to me in the way, it seems, it did to you lot.

While Frank Lucas, agreeably, is an interesting character, I had the nagging feeling that

Spoiler:
he should have had a back-up plan for when the war ended.
He seems like a clever bloke, yet overlooks this. Nitpicking, I know, but it never did seem so clear to me.

Apart from that, it was a good film, just it didn't have the witty narration of Goodfellas, the performance and romanticism of The Godfather, nor the characters to completely pull it up there, with the greats.

I won't buy it on DVD, but I hope Ridley Scott makes more films like this (although an effin British film would be nice for once.)

Best film of 2007? I think so.

Just got this on dvd and watched it last night for the second time.

Definitely not the best film of 2007, but it was a great movie imo.

What do you think is the best film of 07?

Personally, I thought No Country for Old Men was the best.
