Ares is tenacious and all, but I don't think there's much he can do to Simon.

Well Marvel Ares gets demolished Wonder Man gets destroyed by Dc Ares 100% of the time.

Would Wonder Man still hold the advantage if he weren't made of ionic energy? Or would Ares gain the upperhand then?

Sorry. I meant if he still had his power set, but not the ionic body.

I guess maybe it would open up the possibility to beat him with sleeping gas or something of that nature, but Ares isn't really built to take advantage of any of the weaknesses that would come from Simon losing his ionic body.

Ares is a lot more skilled than Simon though :/
