Just like star wars

Do you guys think alot of films tryed to copy the orignal 1977 star wars film??

I can think of riddley scotts alien which is abit the same but its a horror movie. I respect scott as a director and think hes very good

Maybe some films borrowed certain elements of Star Wars but I can't think of a film that attempted copying it, really.

And Alien is so completely different than Star Wars, I wouldn't even compare the two.

Only Harry Potter comes to mind.

I have to say that I don't really see any similarities between Alien and A New Hope. Other than the spacesips and futuristic settings they're entirely different.
