Release of Kingdom of the crystal skull trailer

Same here. Not like this matters much, but a guy at AICN gave Indy 4 a positive review saying it was a cumulation of all three previous movies. Seems kinda stuffed to me lol.

yeah there are many elements in the film that they're gonna cram in. I read a good part of one of the 'positive' reviews where the reviewer said the film actually looks like it was filmed in the 80's - dunno about you, but to me that sounds like a good thing

lol it seems we have a 3rd trailer - i wouldnt get too excited, but there are a couple of scenes worth noting - crop circles 🙂

Not crop circles... the Nazca lines.

Yep..Nazca lines.

For those that never heard of them: they are line drawings in South America, once thought by eric von Däniken to be created by extra-terrestrials, because the drawings were so big you could only see what they looked like from the air. Von Däniken also believed a long set of lines was supposed to be a landing strip.

Some people believed the creators had to have had flight. But in recent years a more reasonable xplanantion came about. The Nazca-ans were weaveres and used fairly simple weaving etchniques to enhance drawings. The drawings served as ritual walking lines where the people walked the drawings as form of ritual. The interesting thing is that the drawings are made from 'one thread': you can walk into them, follow the lines and walk out again. You never get stuck. A true art of weaving with a single thread.

But I guess here it supports the theory of aliens making the lines.

so now we have crystal skulls, chauchilla cemetry, roswell and 'Nazca lines' - i love this idea of bringing more than one real life source into the movie. Very informative, cheers 😉

god, I hope they don't have aliens in this movie....

I mean, I'm sure they could pull it off, but its so not Indy

Spoiler:
aliens wont be seen - in the flesh anyway lol

Most definitely an unneeded element for the film. I'm sure you could find out online. But I don't find spoilers anymore, I remember when Star Wars 3 came out I went spoiler hungry, and knew everything that was going to happen in the movie already. Really ruins the whole experience.
And wow, I just typed all of that unnecessary crap.

Another New Trailer:

I never mind spoilers.

3rd was released today - I saw no other threads with it in. Did I do good?

Lol. Maybe on this forum, but I knew about that trailer for a while now. Good Job though, you get an E-cookie.

Congrats!

came out on the ninth

can't wait til Indy IV comes out.

One more week.

I know I can't wait. I've heard radio stations and other sources say that's it's not what people will expect, but I'm not going to let that concern me because pre-reviews of movies are rarely accurate.

Not what people will expect in a good way or a bad way?
