You know what's the stupidest thing about school?

I've just busted my ass for the past few months writing a shit load of essay and doing a lot of work well past 1 am, it was all due the other day, I begged for an extension to finish it off and got one, but the day that I had to hand it in I was actually very sick and couldn't hand it in, now I fail.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I hate school with every fibre of my being!!!!!

Even if you are sick as shit, you've got to find some way to turn that stuff in. I've had to deal with similar issues. Just go to that one class, even if you are sick, just to turn in the paper, and then go back home! Or else, like chill said, get someone else to turn it in for you.

I know it's too late to help your problem, but hopefully it'll help in the future.

Meh, I have yet to finish a paper due last Monday, and it's worth 40% of my final mark, but I don't sweat it. shrug

Yeah, good call. That's my way of doing things as well, wouldn't change it for anything.

For me, I am able to persuade the teachers to allow me to turn it in the day after I'm sick. I've been doing those kind of things for years. And to be honest, it's more fair than having to get out of bed when you're sick to do it.
Sometimes, though, I do that because they set the time, and it's my responsibility to get it done and sent in at the right time.
