The official "What's this Movie?" thread!

Hey, everyone! I need your help! I'm looking for a movie! Unfortunately I don't remember much of it... I'm from Bulgaria and I saw just a few minutes of that movie on our national TV years ago. I guess I was too young and that's why my parents didn't let me see it - it was about ghosts. I think it was a 2-part movie, an American or English one (and maybe, just maybe it could have been German...) I remember a 3-4-minute part of it - a man went downstairs one night and ne saw a green ghost which disappeared almost immediately. Then the man went outside, looked up and on the roof there was another ghost - a woman in a white nightgown throwing rocks (I think that as she was a ghost, the rocks were not real too). That's what I remember. I'm sorry if it sounds too vague and confusing... If you can help me, any detail would be useful!!! Congrats everyone! 😉

It's a pretty old movie, I saw it about 5 years back on TV. It was about a slightly mentally disturbed man who decides to become a superhero, but he kills his prey. His ally is a bald bartender, who in the end saves his life from a slick-looking criminal. I thought it was called Darkman or Shadowman, but its not the Raimi movie. Also, the bartender may have been played by an actor named David Bowie, but not the singer. I know this is very vague, but if anyone has any ideas...

Ok, I have been thinking about this movie that came out in the nineties, and I can't remember the title. I haven't seen it since my child hood so I only remember small bits...

1. It was a comedy about a superhero, or a guy that thinks he is a superhero.
2. He wore a trash can as a helmet! And the rest of his outfit was made of metal stuff.
3. I think he was australian, or it was based in australia, or somthing.

That's all i got.

PLEASE help me figure out what this movie is!

HELP!!

OK so I watched this movie on TV like 5yrs ago and never caught the name but I want to rent it and watch it again but I've never been able to figure out what it is. The movie starts out with four or five ppl, I think its three guys and one girl and they're all placed in bomb shelters with no contact to anyone but each other because aliens are attacking and they're supposed to ride out the attack until they get word and if they don't hear anything in I think it was like 5 yrs they are supposed to nuke the planet wait some more and then emerge an start all over. They have to continually push the "override" button so that the planet doesn't get nuked. And the nukes aren't where they are...But they all end up dead cause one guy makes a radio because he's stir crazy and wants to know what's going on and they pick up the signal and find him..and they all end up dead except one guy who slowly grows crazy until he gets a message from a general that they're about to win the war so keep pushin the button so that the planet doesn't explode and then for the first time in the entire movie the scene changes and you can see what the guy can't and there's an alien pulling a total Independance Day move and talking thru the general..Its creepy..Anyone have any clue what I'm talkin about?

Please help me - I am slowly going mad trying to find the name of a recent American film I saw last Christmas.

A guy goes into a hospital which is being renovated to have a routine operation but gets an infection in his leg so has to stay. Weird creepy stuff happens - people are being tortured in a separate ward; his wife is having an affair with the surgeon; his daughter is gay; he has sex with a nurse whose tattoo kind of comes alive; there's a mysterious black doctor; no-one will listen to him and eventually he has his legs amputated. There's a pretty cool twist at the end, which I won't mention. :-)

I'd have thought it would be easy enough to find with a few key words but nope - nothing...

I remember watching a movie on bravo some 4 or 5 years ago about a small boy that drives a car, and is in search of these letters like in the monopoly game from mc donalds. In the end it ends up being a sting to catch criminals. Does anyone know what i am talking about?

Hi everyone! I have been on here before looking for a name of a movie and hope maybe someone might be able to help me this time.
I watched this movie when I was really young like 8 or 9 and it was the early 1980's. I am going to guess that the movie was more from the 1960's or 1970's though. It was about a little girl who lived with her mean grandmother in the woods. She was very dirty with no shoes, etc. A woman from town, (maybe a social worker or something), took her in and bought her new clothes and took her to a carnival where she threw up after riding a ferris wheel. The little girl and some friends killed a bird by stomping on it and the woman was very angry with her. There was a cop in the movie too trying to help with the little girl. Anyway, that's all i can remember, so if anyone can help I would appreciate it!

An empty deserted house in the desert (probably Las Vegas) and a 2 or 3 guys are having a Tarantino-like dialogue inside the house, the story is around a stolen suitcase with money, and I think it was in the trunk of a red car, parked outside. I saw it on TV maybe 8 years ago.

The movie I need a name for is about a window dresser who falls in love with a manequin who comes to life of a night. He rides a bike and one of the best songs to come out that year was from that movie. Can't remember the name of the movie or the song. I hope someone can help.

The name of that movie is Maneqquin, cheesiest and corniest movie of all time, but James Spader is hillarous in it.

I think it came out in 2007 or early 2008. I just got a snippit of the preview and never caught the name of the movie. It was a young student who fell in love with an older reserved bald unattractive professor, but he seemed like a sweet man who loved his wife. I think he was married and they were having an affair. Or maybe his wife died and he was a widower? I can't remember... Please help. It was a recent movie (not old). Thanks!

for many years I have been trying to find out the name of a movie and have had no luck - any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I can remember as a child it was a movie based around a plane that gets involved with a time portal (i think) and some hairy ball shaped monsters with only mouths attack the plane and it goes down, i think,

Reading back on this it sounds absurd but has been bothering me for over a decade as to what movie it is - possibly starts with 'T' but thats only a stab in the dark.

I have a faint memory of seeing a movie back in the day I can't remember... The movie wouldn't have come out after 1992... and here are the few things I can remember...

1) A horse accident or a horse being killed...

2) A little girl, about 8 or 9 got sick and coughed up blood in a bathtub...

3) The little girl later on walking through the mall with her mother, going up an escalator telling the "Orange ya glad I didn't say banana" joke, but she was wearing some sort of mask (like a respirator?).

4) For some reason, I remember the girl coughing up the blood after the horse had the accident... as if the girl was somehow connected to the horse, but I was too young to remember.

Someone please help!!! What was this movie???
