8 and 9 year olds?! ****in' Georgia.

at 8, I didnt even know what boobies were. 😕

I did, I was even fed through them as a baby, believe it or not.

I was still under the impression that 8 and 9 year olds didn't know what sex was, much less what rape was.

my thoughts exactly...f*king sad

Depends on a few things:

1) Access to TV

2) Access to music (especially if they are one of musics fans from Eminem to M Manson or whatever or any ther band/musician which go on about sex to their target -often semi-inadvertantly young-audience)

3) Access to playground banter and language.(I knew the F word at 5 and found out around then by asking honest adults) I used the C word around 7 not knowing what that was, but Im pretty sure I'd found out from a mate at school what that was, albeit after the said event..

4) Whether or not they are blind/deaf to the adult behaviors and phraseology that purvade every aspect of advertising.
"Daddy! Why is that ladyy eating that Cadburys flake like that....?"
"I'll tell you when your older son"= You know its got to be one of those mystrious sex thing s you keep hearing about but are never fully told by someone in the know....so you look else where, wheich brings us to:

5) Exposure to books. Plenty of them at my school.

6) Access through video games.... Grand theft anyone...?

7) Asking your Mum or Da at the age of five/seven why your thang randomly does its thang.

And thats just setting the gist as to why I find it unbelievable that people still say that its inconcievable that a 8 or 9 yr old isn't clued up in todays society enough to know what sex is....

Most of my examples were applicable through the early eighties, that I was 5-9 at. And the kids seem to know the banter even more now..
..even if it is a vague awareness early on with a few gathered ideas attached that mislead them to thinking that rape is right way.

Is it stated that they fully committed penatration with their penises...?

No, but the article did say they had tests run on the girl after to determine what happened.

And did they say what had come in contact (I really dont wanna lower the tone of this anymore) it could have been anything that did it. And if they used something other than what our first thought would be, or it could have been something else or even and impliment.

But really thats rhetorical as either way, I don't in actuality want to know as its a really sickening subject.

In fact: Im gonna bail out of this thread merely saying that even if young males couldn't shall we say "Initiate traditionally" there are other ways that adults do what they do, in ways that could be unfortunately forced on that poor girl and that is all to concieveable outside of full sex.

Hope that they are locked upfor a very, very long time though under the proper supervision as people with such a F.U.B.A.Red sense of social skills will only grow into a bigger monster is my worry.

Again, poor girl.

No-ones first experience should be that.

I was more than sexually aware by the time I was about 6. I knew exactly what to do and how to do it. No, I didn't watch pornography either. When I was eight, I wanted to have sex with 11 and 12 year old girls too...they had boobs...the eight year old girls I knew didn't. I am dead serious.

Am I the exception? I would say yes....Since I can remember, I have always been sexually attracted to women. Are other young men like I was? Probably...but I don't think it is common.

as did I.

I don't think that its as simple as the boys threatening to beat her up if they didn't have sex. I think its more along the lines of either they had sex or played doctor or whatever else, the girl told her friends at the slumber party, and then once her parents found out, to avoid getting in trouble, she said "I didn't want to, but they made me."

Just my guess.

I know it's a serious offense, but I couldn't help but thinking that someone gave those kids a little Viagra.

No they didn't say and probably won't, given the age of the girl.

I knew what sex was at that age, I think most other kids my age knew as well.

I got that feeling as well.

I read this on the BBC website a while back. Wasn't that shocked to be honest. It's not as if 8 and 9 year olds don't understand sex.

How did they rape her... at 8 years old they should have a small penis...

She probably had a very tight vagina, so their small penis probably came in handy.

Just one penis between them?

Penises. Typo. Thinking about tight vaginas made me careless.

Are they sure it wasn't just forced entry with some object like a...like a flute?
