You would have to show me that Simon is EXTRA succeptible to energy attacks, because he has been in battles with ZZaXX (or, whowever you spell his name), Thor, Living Lightning, Ultron, has shrugged off all kinds of electrical, radioactive and physical attacks.
It has usually taken some kind of brute force to knock Simon out.

He's one shotted Namor.
And there's an awesome strength feat from old where he knocks Thing through some HUGE stone pillars, and Thing keeps going. A single punch, that didn't hit dead on cuz Bolt was dazed... 🙂
Besides, after amping, Black Bolt can easily match Simon in strength, and he didn't amp for any of those.
