Its called physics. The shock wave was powerful enough to knock helicopters off balanced, which some may not be able to correct and end up dieing in a crash. So if it was powerful enough to do that, the people around him, would be dead. Not to mention that one panel with the house falling apart. Do you think that all houses were able to stay up?

I guess all that green energy was really just a light show, and the eastern seaboard comment was a bigger hyperbole than the power of a million exploding suns.

If no one died in that, then I am leaning more towards the comment, "Comics are for kids".
