G.I. Joe

In my opinion, Ray Park as Snake Eyes shows a lot of promise. The fact that they picked such a stunt-related actor for such a stunt-related part means that all of Snake Eyes' crazy stunts will be done with a live actor, and not rely on CGI.

I guess the only thing I'd be worried about is his stature. Ray Park is kind of a small guy, and I've always seen Snake Eyes as leaner and a bit taller. Also, for whatever reason, if Snake Eyes has any dialogue, they'd have to get somebody else to do the voice.

Could be a lot worse.

Well when Ray played Darth Maul, and spoke when he did, as Maul, that wasn't Ray's voice, and that turned out good, so.

And who knows. With how much better C.G.I.'s evolved, they could make Ray taller/leaner.

That one scene is his most recognizable. He has been in other films but none like Batman Begins.

Loved G.I.Joe as a kid, have dozens of toys, boats, jeeps, planes, the whole shebang, something about Snake Eyes made him the coolest though.

CC was a hero of mine growing up. I have long thought that his character would be best served by Jeremy Irons. He has the physique and voice to best serve the character in the a movie. However, Joseph Gordon Levitt has been cast. I don't have a single issue with JGL. He's a fantastic actor. But I still retain a lot of doubt about a guy that is a year younger than I am being able to establish a world-wide terrorist organization that is determined to rule the world.

Actually, a lot of the news about this movie is less than inspirational. But I'll reserve judgement for a point in the process where the concept is more specifically defined.
