Joker's crazy enough to actually withstand it IMO.

Darkseid, easily. He's not just evil aligned, he's pure evil. He would enjoy the stare.

If the soulgem didnt affect Galactus, I doubt the penace stare would. As for Darkseid, I wouldnt be angry if it worked, but not likely. Now if it were the Penace Stairs...
