REX'S STAR WARS GAME- Retrospection

Started by General Zink46 pages

I find it funny that Rand has appeared in so many Retro games but not actually featured in one. This needs to change!

Hush! I need to get my laptop back so I can get to my notes.

He's totally stalking everyone.

Finish Desecration!

I'm enjoying the pace things are going at now, much better than they were!

😛

You have made me even more curious as to where you're going with things in Holocron, damnit.

There it's done.

A bit different from the others in that it was less very personal and more aiming to set up the Darkie group dynamic as it stands, but I think I didn't do half-bad with it.

Not at all! I enjoyed it. Though there were no actual consequences to Galder killing everyone, it was nice having someone call him on his shit. 😉

It doesn't happen often, does it 😛

Now I can run mine! I thought it'd be overkill to have Galder playing three mini-games at once. And it will explain why Galder has the compulsion to kill everything forever.

Started the first versus Retro game in three years! Have fun, Relle and Con.

I think my present plan is to finish the games that are currently running before I start any more. My goal is to tie everything off by summer, so that new games can be played in June!

Also- I have a small side project that I want to fool around with, if anyone is interested. It's still Star Wars, but actually set during a later time period.

I maybe willing to do it.

I might be up for it as well if you need more than one.

I'm looking at about three to four players.

I might join in, if ya want me there. 😛

Sounds good then. Do you have any more specifics?

I'm pretty much always up for crazy ideas, so...

Hey look, four!

It's an adaptation of a Wizards of the Coast game that piqued my interest. Set post-Return of the Jedi, and a wayward Jedi needs to be tracked down by our heroic players.

Summer has arrived, at long last. As I have much more free-time during the summer, and most of you do as well (hopefully), I intend to start some more planned episodes and push some of the longer standing games through to completion.

In order to raise the level of excitement, I've prepared some spoilers...

DARK SIDE

A series of images flash by, set to "The Clash of Lightsabers."

0:00 - 0:40

Rianna stands on a mining platform, leaning on a guard rail, looking down upon a city floating in the clouds.

A woman in business attire looks up from a desk at Jedi Master Rand and his Padawan, Foghren.

Rah is seated between Takuan and an older man in rusted armor, concentrating intensely as they take his hands.

Azarl reaches for something and examines it in the dark of a cruiser's bridge, overgrown with vines.

A young girl chained to a wall whimpers in fright. Padawan Gallador reaches out to touch her strangely elfin ears.

0:40 - 1:10

Elegant doors to a throne room have been blasted open. General Kaliero strides in through the smoke, lightsabers already lit.

An almost ancient-looking man in blood red robes cackles as he lifts Azarl into the air with the Force.

Relle and Con stand at opposite ends of a corridor, each holding a pistol in one hand and a lightsaber in the other.

In the court of a grotesquely slime-covered Hutt, Gallador ignites his lightsaber and makes for its dais.

Lightsabers clash as Rianna flips over the Jedi Knight Andro and lands, intercepting two more blades with her own- those of Myraline and Ciira.

The music cuts as the Psycho Brigade, all dressed in Jedi robes, ignite their lightsabers in unison. A figure in black armor strides up the steps of the Temple of Learning, dragging his red lightsaber across one of the entryway's pillars with a horrible screeching.

The scene cuts to Rand and Foghren standing opposite each other in the midst of an arena. Both are covered in burns and blood.

"Throw down your sword, Master!" Foghren yells.

"I will not!" Rand shouts.

"I will not fight you!"

"Then you will DIE!"

Rand raises his lightsaber as "The Asteroid Field" starts.

2:15 - 2:42

A fearful Rianna rapidly retreats across a catwalk from a vengeful Andro. Both wield two lightsabers.

The Psycho Brigade carves its way through a legion of armored soldiers in a jungle, again wearing Jedi robes.

Azarl activates his lightsaber and leads a charge into battle against a horde of savage warriors.

Relle and Con whirl between columns in the midst of a vicious gun battle, exchanging fire with each other.

A man in smuggler attire casually blocks Gallador's lightsaber and kicks him down a set of stairs.

Rah chases an unseen foe through a series of steam-filled tunnels, yelling loudly.

A shower of missiles come down upon Rand, who screams in frustration as he raises his hands to push them aside. They explode around him.

The music cuts and the armored figure gestures at the Psycho Brigade.

"Children... destroy them," he laughs. The Brigade whirls around in surprise as a small army of Padawans ignite their lightsabers.

Fade to black.
