I'm a bit weirded out. I am sure I said twice, once even in bold lettering, that I am very aware of the meaning of said phrase. I am pretty sure it needs a reasonable context to apply though and that's what I asked for (multiple times).
Your explanation given to FeceMan is not an actual explanation of what I asked for, you just rephrased what you said. You explained the phrase (a phrase I am sure almost every English speaking person in the world is aware of) not why you said and how it applied to the situation. I was making a comment on your odd form of giving respect, not by personality or actions, but by title, gathered in multiple recent threads, that you might find it insulting is ok, that you assume because I made this chart that I am of less intelligence than you thought I was before is what needs explanation.
Which by the way is why I generally used the term "elaborate", assuming that such a fine English speaker as you, aware of such uncommon phrases as "more than meets the eye", would know the specific meaning of that word and not simply think it means "Explain what the literal meaning was".
