Those "negative" reviews, as you must know if you go to the forums are mostly bogus. Some of those reviews don't even have the plot correct. And the reviews are no doubt bias, they come from AICN and CHUD which have been Anti-Indy 4 since before they began shooting the movie.
So don't sweat it, the movie will do fine. The worst it can do is a 3/5. Steven doesn't fail when it comes to Indy.
a few execs from paramount have had a private screening (or somebody important, i'll have to read it again) but they all have to sign some kind of agreement - apparently that's where they say it came from, but they'd surely loose their jobs in a flash. Doesnt seem worth it, not to mention nothing major in terms of the plot was revealed, so you and i could of wrote this😛
Not a bad idea. Actually, one of the guys on theraider.net made a seemingly legit post to his opinion of the movie, even though he never really watched it. People didn't know that though and were fooled by it. Just goes to show that the reviews you see now are almost no indication to how the movie will turn out. Look at SpeedRacer for example, the guys at AICN gave it high praise and it bombed in the box office.
