Zomg What A Boner!!!

Well to be honest Its a tie between Great Danes and Dobies. As much as I love and adore my PitBull and Pug , I can not find any faults with any Great Dane or Dobie I have ever owned. My Danes are huge yet when around my 3 and 2yo daughters they are sooooooooooooo careful and aware of there size. Worst downside to the breed is the life span 8-12years depending on bloodlines. Also with this breed EVERTHING is so much more expensive. But In all I guess I do lean towards Great Danes being my first pick of breed follow very closely by Dobies. Danes are just all around great dogs.

Yeah, that's cool. I have to admit, it's the lifespan that's put me off with Great Danes.

My favourite so far has actually been a cross breed. He's the most wonderful dog I've ever had and he's a Staffordshire bull terrier cross grey hound, a strange and brilliant mix.

That IS a weird mix! Yea the Life span is rough but I would rather have 8-12years with a dog I love then 15years with a dog I didn't like.

Oh Nooos!Scooby Went to our vet today because of a limp. My vet gave him some steroids to see if that will help any. He thinks its a jammed ankle but I go back Monday and well have Xrays done then to see if its Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy or Panosteitis?.
