The argument has roused Ker'Raos.
"What's going on?" he asks, groggily.
Unfortunately, Dak, all you are able to find immediately is articles regarding the Queen-Mother's communications with the Galactic Senate. Apparently she attended a meeting, something that likely would have caused some ire on Arnia. The world does not even have a Senator, mind you. You would have to dig deeper for anything important.
He has a point, Wraith. While his vision has a chance of not happening, your vision is the same. The Force shows potential futures to all, ones that can be made to happen or avoided, depending on whom they are shown to. Dak will want his to happen, while you will want yours prevented.
Ker'Raos slowly steps back into the bunks, leaving you two in the room. He hates taking sides.
After what seems like an eternity of dodging idiotic pilots, the Black Dawn emerges into the cold calmness of space (which, of course, does not rival the cold calmness of an Arnian snow field).
Ker'Raos straps in, I assume Wraith does likewise, Nar Shaddaa falls away behind you, the stars blur, and you make the jump to lightspeed.
Wraith's words did bother you a bit, Dak. What if what you saw is inaccurate? You are not accustomed to receiving visions, after all. Kuylen could have helped you interpret...
Wraith, you're uneasy about your own vision. Uncomfortable that Dak received a vision on a similar subject...
Dak leans back in his chair. Very little had gone right since leaving Kuylen. He knew the Zeitonians would have rebelled against Kuylen anyway, but... Dak would never admit it to someone else, but he knew he was not as gifted in the Force as he would like to believe.
Perhaps he should have ignored Ker'Raos' warning, not listened to Wraith's urging that the Mausoleum wasn't worth it. Perhaps by abandoning that group he had fallen away from the path the Force had intended for him. He wanted to believe that this vision was the Force's way of getting him back on track, but how could he be sure? ...Everything had been better with Kuylen.
What if he was misinterpreting? He hadn't even thought about how he'd get through Arnia's planetary shield. And leaving the Rim for the Republic... it wasn't exactly suicide, yet who knew when you'd just happen to come across a Jedi?
Come home, General Kaliero...
He had to stand by his earlier decision. Staying on Nar Shaddaa would be relatively safe, but then what was the point of the vision at all? Come home... that seemed easy enough to make sense of. Besides, if he thought about changing his mind now, that'd be a nice show of weakness. Wraith's ear was already difficult enough to hold, and Ker'Raos would not find it spectacular either.
Wraith says nothing during the transit to Arnia, brooding over his vision. What awaits him there? Dak has history with the planet, possibly kinship there, but what can he possibly get from it? Still, while bounty hunting easily reaps in benefits, it is not grand in scale.
Curiosity, too, pushes Wraith to agree, as Dak has been lured by something important, obviously.
Arnians fighting Arnians... Dak supposed that must have happened before recorded history, but ever since civilization there had been no such thing as civil war on Arnia. All issues were taken to the Queen-Mother to sort out according to Tsa'Dis...
The Queen-Mother! Perhaps it was the same one that had been in power when he was kidnapped. He was closely related, only five generations back. Maybe she could harbor him, allow him a position to figure out his vision.
Not a bad idea, but while Arnia is largely closed off from the rest of the Galaxy, it is still a Republic world.
You remember this Queen-Mother; Zethalda, daughter of Artemedi, the Queen-Mother and representative fo Tsa'Dis before her. Artemedi was before your time; it is Zethalda you remember best. You remember that, despite her awe-inspiring presence and ability to lead, many were Arnians were displeased with how she handled foreign affairs.
It is of popular belief amongst Arnians that foreign affairs should not be an issue at all. Rarely is Coruscant mentioned, or the Republic, or the Supreme Chancellor, or even the Jedi Knights.
But the Queen-Mother Zethalda, in her enlightened status, believes that Arnia should be more open to the affairs of the Republic and end Arnia's isolationist status. After all, the Republic did come to Arnia's aid when the Sith struck, thousands of years ago, and they came again when the Osokans tried to hunt your kind.
Still, it is an unpopular stance. Especially with you. If you appeared before the Queen-Mother, she would report you to the Republic authorities, possibly even to the Jedi Order itself. She and Master Yoda are the best of pals.
The problem there is that you don't know where you would find isolationists. Hell, you don't even know what's actually going on on Arnia! You've been out of loop since you began training with Kuylen.
However, you have a very good idea of where to start: Meja'Tsid, the major mining town. Arnians from all parts of the globe come there to begin careers in the water mines. You have no doubts that you might find some inkling of the isolationists there, in addition to getting your bearings.
"We'll go to Meja'Tsid. It's a mining town, biggest on the planet. Does a lot of trade, mostly water. The Queen-Mother is bad news for us, but her views on foreign affairs are... not well-received by most. We should be able to find a group of Isolationists that won't mind her not knowing about us. From there, I can get my bearings and figure out how to go about this 'general' thing."
