lol, yea go to Maryland and ask them to say Berlin.....hey say "Berlin'" almost like Barreling

Come to Tennessee and hear some of the accents here.

Here's how a Tennesseean would say that:

"Ya'll come on over to Tennessee and hear sum of tha' accents here."

All Americans sound the same to me, just as I suppose all Brits sound the same to you lot too.

Only that's not true, mech. There is no way you would mistake a Texan for a New Yorker.

Ush does have a point, or a person from Montana with a person from Massachusetts

I'm a Pennsyltuckian. According to the people in Cape Hatteras.

I was born in Misery, oops, I mean Missouri.

And I've lived in Tennessee for a long time.

So I guess that makes me a Miserable Tennesseean.

hmmm, thats a bit negative isn't it Lance?

I have a similar status, I came from Hampshire (the old one) but now live in Essex

Hampshire and New Hampshire, York and New York, Jersey and New Jersey, England and New England, Earth and New Earth, Alderaan and New Alderaan...

Okay, losing mind, must focus...

Actually no, it was a joke.

Everybody I know calls Missouri misery.

So it makes me a Miserable Tennesseean.

I've never heard of that...but I guess that's not too unusual.

Okay maybe not all the same, but I still find it quite hard to tell the difference. Here in the UK the accents change quite dramatically over short distances. Listen to the Wigan accent to that of the Scouse accent and even the Welsh and Midlands accents too, I been to all those places in one day on a business trip! And it wasn't even a busy day, we did all those places easily. Very strange don'tcha think?

Yes, the UK has a far more concentrated accent-change phenomenon, for sure.

then you should try to live in Norway, we have extreme accent change over very short distances

I'm sorry I cannot understand anything anyone says anymore, you all appear to have screwed up accents

Julie seems to like smilies.
