Hal is on par with surfer, imo. Sodam yat was considered to be extremely adept with his ring. Which was the reason why he was chosen. Add daxamite abilities with his already skillful ring use, and you have some one that is either above or on par with surfer. Add ion powers to that, and he is over surfer, imo.

He then took on both corps, and bfred a weakened am. Prior to that, he was taking hits from about ten top tiers at a time, and all he got was a bloody nose... This was when he was weakened not once or twice, but three times. One from lack of sunlight and continued exposure to his weakness for a year... the second time by red star, exposing him to red sun energy... the third time, having the only thing feeding him power, his suit, ripped off.

Sodam yat fought someone that did all of these things with relatively unheard of 'ease'.

And I don't really have to convince you, because I doubt you'll give anyone a win over thanos. 🙂

What I dont think some are considering is Thanos under pressure and his vast experience that he has over Prime. Keep in mind that Prime is still just a 19 year old immature man while Thanos has gotten the better of devils and elders of the universe.

Superman-prime dug his fingers into a guardians skull effortlessly without his upgrade 😬

SP would beat Thanos, not with total ease but the guy took a multiple assault from GL Corp members and top tiers of DC Universe, he's a wrecker in every sense.

Thanos is powerful, but he is not skyfather. The guardians are. Every one of them. And Superman-prime was shot in the back by three of them to no effect, and killed one.
