Bah... something about France not coming to our aid in Afganastan... But now they have so they are frenchfries (I personally never stopped calling them french fries myself.)

It's not a stupid Indian name...It's Ojibwa (Chippewa) Indian word meaning "large lake."

And...fries are fries anykind of Taters are yummy........my fav.

in spanish it's potatos fritas (or something similar, not sure) and in polish it's frytki. simple and clear

and i prefer rice anyway 😊
