I'm not saying it's the most important. it just pisses me off when a patient calls me "sister" and in the same time to a guy who is not a doctor says "doctor"
I find it unfair.. As simple like that. and now that guy again..
and tx. that "on" didn't look good to me and I didn't know what should be right

You're absolutely right! Sex discrimination is still a struggle for our society world wide. Don't let it get under your skin. If you are a doctor, you are doing something great. Don't let sick minds bring you down.

Oh come on, dude. You get it. If you'd say you're in music, you wouldn't like it if people would think you're roadie. Or the groupie.
I mean, they all serve their purpose, nurses and doctors alike. But I agree with Clovie that it is a little simple minded to think that a woman in healthcare is therefore a nurse. Educated people like Clovie have the moral obligation to educate these people, and she just did.
Now, what is the unhealthy DOCTOR's work you do, Clovie? Enlighten us.

I think that it is silly to think that nurses are not educated. A doctor and a nurse have different jobs, and most doctors would not be able to do their jobs if not for the help of nurses.
I agree. Nurses sure are educated and chief nurses are more educated, and doctors are even more educated, and specialists even more etc etc. The point is not: are nurses educated? The point is: is it normal to find both women and men in these positions. The answer is yes.
Now, back on topic. What kind of doctor argues with the gynecologist department? Someone from the geriatric department? 😉
