I have a Canadian accent...kind of like a Newfie, but not really. 😛
You'll notice I say 'eh' alot though.

i haven't used yahoo much. just msn. i know with the im's on msn, you can select "voice" or "sound on" or something, so that if you have a mic on your computer, you can hear each other talk.

And not only that, you can see each other too... But I have neither a mic nor a webcam. I'll buy a webcam soon. I want to take piccies!

I have two...one normal and the other is in my digital camera. They both have built in microphones. They're a blast!

I only have a digicam, rather than webcam... but we can still talk!

we can all communicate with each other so much easier - no matter where we are, evy! it doesn't mean a long distance phone call - or waiting forever for a letter. e-mail, chat rooms, forums, and now with the voice chats & im's - it's great!

yeah pretty soon, we have those machines that were in "Logan's Run"(where you entered a "dating machine" and others could access you and have you transported to their home to "mix and mingle" LOL!

well, not exactly. i've just always been interested in meeting people, & in other countries, languages, accents, etc. just having fun with all of this!!
