What song are you talking about, FistOfThe North?

Eminem's "Criminal" track from The Marshall Mathers LP album.

The Smiths had a fair few songs that created more controversy than This Charming Man, which wasn't very controversial in reality.

Out of songs I've heard I think Here Come The Butchers by NothingFace would probably be one of the most controversional songs.

I love that album.

On a side note, This Charming Man was a great song; but like VVD stated, it wasn't that controversial.

well i say it was. I remember it being a big deal. I remember even seeing it on my local news @ 10.

It did create angst. So much so that Em did a duet with Elton John to make up. And everyone knows about the Elton John/Eminem duet they did with the hug at the end and everything.

I remember watching it and i was like wow.

I mean c'mon. When you're like the most influential rapper of your time, like Em was, with how influential rap was, and still is, (with how gargabe the game is now) and to sing stuff like "whether you a ffag or lez, or a homosex, hermaph or a tranz-a-ves, pants or dress, hate fagz? the answers "yes,"", that's bound to cause big controversy.

did you even read the post you're answering?

o

i misread it.

I must've completely didn't get or see that he was talking about VVD, somehow.

my bad.

it's ok...we forgive you

Yeah, it's okay, it was easy to think that he just called you "this charming man", no biggie, could have happened to anyone.

the first thing that pops into my mind is "Yall should all get lynched" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrZ98ZieZjQ by NY Oil. Gonna read through the thread now..

eminem - just lose it

more controversial when it was released because of michael jackson being in court. some music channels wont play it

"The Ballad of John and Yoko" was very controversial when it came out in 1969. It is considered tame today.
