I prefer WWH/Planet Hulk indeed the Hulk of the last few years, since Banner finally stopped fighting it and started attempting to manage and understand the rest of his mind.

I know that's his classic persona, though not his original personality. And that's the one people who are casual fans think of first.
But in the years when his title was best written (by Peter David) Hulk was crafty & articulate, and that's what I like best. More Jekyll & Hyde, less Frankenstein. But, to each his own.
