It is hard and metal, attached to some sort of tubing that leads upwards.

There is resistance in the atmosphere when you move your arms up to your face. Almost like pushing your arms through water...

Xavier feels the resistence and the metal mask. He will try and get some kind visual on where he is.

Your vision slowly becomes accustomed to seeing through the liquid that you are submerged in. You realize that the thing attached to your face is a breath mask, pumping fresh air to your lungs while you are submerged.

Trax is standing nearby, outside of the bacta tank. He is monitoring your vitals.

Xavier looks through the Bacta tank sees Trax. He tries to say something until he realizes he can not.

Xavier wonders how long he has been out. He also wonders how much he will have to be in here. He wants out.

Trax looks up from the monitors and strolls over to the tank.

"You are brave," Trax says, "but a fool."

"I find that those two are often one and the same," Xavier replies, or at least tries to reply with.

He makes a motion of some kind for Trax to tell him how when he can get out.

Your jaw hurts like hell, but yes, you can speak.

"Perhaps," he says. He studies you for a moment, leaning against the controls at the bottom of the tank. "You've taken quite a beating. I think most men would have died from such a beating, personally. Strange that you did not."

He pauses, simply staring up at you.

"I guess I am not most men then," Xavier responds. His jaw hurting a little bit.

"So how long do I have to stay in here, Trax?"

"Until you're healed," Trax says. "As I said, they did their worst. Numerous broken bones... I had to squeeze a few back into place... that sort of stuff..."

Trax looks over a few of the monitors, then back up at you.

"I did find something rather interesting, friend."

"Thank you for putting me back together Trax." Xavier replies.

"And what did you find exactly?" Xavier asks raising one of his eyebrows.

"Let's just say I have reason to believe you are not merely a slave waiting to be sold on the market..." Trax says, turning one of the screens to face the bacta tank.

It has been focused on a chart depicting the amount of midi-chlorians in your bloodstream.

Xavier simply remains silent as Trax shows the charts. He stares at the prune faced alien.

"So what will you do now?" Xavier says as emotionless as always.

"That is up to you," Trax says. "Who are you, really?"

"I can not reveal much about who I am, but I am here to help." Xavier replies.

"Help who? The slaves? Your brash actions haven't been so helpful."

"They have been to at least one person," Xavier says implying the girl.

Trax crosses his arms. "Deliberately vagueries will not help you, friend. I have a feeling that I know what you are, and I know the Pirate Lord will not like it. Out with it, or I'll reveal you. I want everything."

Xavier knew he was in a bind, he had no cards to hold. Trax had everything going for him. Still Trax had an idea of what he was and was willing to hold his ground. Xavier respected that from green skinned, prune faced alien.

"So be it," Xavier says monotone, glaring as always. "My name is Xavier Kolarn. I'm a soon to be Jedi that was sent here on a mission. That mission to save the Senator's daughter, Loola. Also after what I've seen of this slave trade I logically desire to shut down this operation permanently."

Xavier pauses for a minute, "I hope that will suffice for you friend."

"It does."

Trax taps in a few commands, and the midi-chlorian chart changes. The count drops radically, down to that of the average being.

"You're going to need help, Xavier Kolarn. I know you cannot do this alone. It has been tried before."

"Are you speaking about Frist?" Xavier asks.
