john teleported to heaven, then immdiately he teleported both himself and medivh into limbo..this was the place where it happened...john's vast workspace was its own dimension, accessable only by the reaper, and those he allowed to enter..trillions apon trillions of people across the universe were here, waiting for their ultimate judgement, and this was just the "maybe" pile..thankfully the rest of the system was automatic, and any soul who leaned too far to either side of the scale was immediately sent to either heaven or hell...
it also housed a very elaborate prison system...any scaped demon that john killed or captured during his previous job was here, their bodies long gone, and their conscienceness trapped in towering soulnados, with no chance of escape..
"we can talk freely here" john said.."even the lich king cannot find us....what have you discovered?"
"It is more of a possibility than a true discovery. The reason I wanted privacy is because there is a possibility that because it is so natural to him, he has not even considered it a weakness, but before I give fact straight out, let me tell you a little something about the Lich King. Information you probably to an extent already know of.
Many years ago, Ner'Zhul was nothing but a normal orcish shaman. His greatest foe in the end was a warlock named Kil'Jaeden. This warlock possessed massive amounts of power and by the time he caught and defeated Ner'Zhul he did not kill him. No, instead he bound him, imprisoned him to a frozen throne at the highest location on Azeroth. What would later on be known as the Frozen Throne. The imprisonment was not a physical, but a spiritual imprisonment. Ner'Zhul was given the task to forever serve Kil'Jaeden and control the undead legion on Azeroth. His soul, armor and blade was locked into the frozen prison and his body was destroyed, leaving him as nothing but an essence.
As time passed, Ner'Zhul grew more and more powerful. Kil'Jaeden had granted him the power to expand, but what Kil'Jaeden failed to do was limit the power. It didnt take long until Ner'Zhul could free himself. Only partly, though, as he had no physical body. So trough his vast mental abilities did he blast his sword out of the frozen prison and across the continent.
Later on, this sword was grabbed by a young prince named Arthas. The sword instantly tainted his soul, binding him to Ner'Zhuls will. Subtly did Ner'Zhul manipulate Arthas to serve his will. Many events later, Ner'Zhul have had Arthas successfully fight all obstacles and made his way to the frozen prison. With a roar and a slash with the blade of Ner'Zhul did he shatter the prison, releasing the essence and armor of Ner'Zhul.
Next scenario, Arthas equiped himself with the armor and became the Lich King that we know of.
Arthas is the body that Ner'Zhul dwells within, but from how I understood it we can if not defeat, greatly weakening Ner'Zhul if we use this information to our benefit.
The sword Frostmourne, the sword of the Lich King has extreme powers. It has among many other abilities the power to rob people of their powers. If Ner'Zhul would to be seperated from this blade in a big encounter, the chances of victory would increase vastly.
Now, the armor of Ner'Zhul contains his spirit. For as long as Arthas wears that armor, that helmet, the two beings are one.
I think you are smart enough to figure where I am going with all of this.
Arthas was just a plain paladin. A confused human soul. Ner'Zhul is the real threat"
((I'll give JacopeX a chance to react concerning Ner'Zhul being in Hell before I make a post to reply yours, Mene))
