The Hulk had his own forum. It was deleted because there was always about 3 gigantic fanboys on it, and no one else would post. Characters like Spider-Man and Superman (obviously more popular) can barely sustain their own forum. So no, that's not something that would ever happen.
There's nothing you can't take care of in the vs. forum and/or general comic forum, where the hulk has various threads dedicated to him.
Which ignores that fact that making spam threads are just about the worst way to engender change on the boards. But that's ok...I'd expect nothing less from someone who ends their appeal with "Then I Will Crush My Enemies Mercilessly!"
🙄

Anyway, obviously, from what I am reading so far, I am not the only person that feels this way.
And, here is another big difference. It would seem that most of the guys that agree with me, are of the more coherent members on the forum.
They can actually put sentences together and cool stuff like that!
The "Crush My Enemies" thing is obviously a tip of the hat to comic book jargon. Paying my respects.
As far as my topic goes, I am just sick of having EVERY thread end up being about Hulk in some way.
So sick of it.
So sick of arguing about a character I have no interest in.
And, no, it isn't happening because of Hulk having such a high place in comicdom. It happens, usually, like this:
Checking out something like the Dr. Strange vs Dr. Fate thread:
Somebody says: "I think Dr. Strange could beat Dr. Fate."
Then, the inevitable:
"But Hulk could beat them both with a Thunderclap! (said with a dorky, buck-tooth voice, to denote idiocy).
Or
Reading a Galactus vs Antimonitor thread:
Somebody says: "Galactus can wipe out entire galaxies."
Then, the inevitable:
Hulk once wiped out a whole universe with a Thunderclap!"
Just so tired of the Hulk... used to like Hulk... now tired of Hulk...
please take away...
...poor Horrificus curls up in a fetal position, babbling about the strongest there is, while he tries to find his "Happy Place"...

oh, might as well make use of this thread for a Hulk-related question.
just read the first two parts of the Marvel Ultimates Wolverine-Hulk mini.
has #3 come out yet? are there any plans for it?
back on topic, I think the flood of Hulk threads is actually down to people who were initially overly sensitive to (and somewhat baseless in their counter assertions against) the trickle of Hulk threads in the period between the middle of the Planet Hulk and the end of the WWH minis.
people decided to launch spite threads and place their favourite top tier against Hulk, hoping for a comic (no pun intended) thread filled with parodies of standard Hulk lines or misrepresentations of some of the more combative Hulk fans. instead what happened was that people got interested in the character, as the minis had (quite rightly) captured the interest of the casual comic reader (me, for instance), resulting in more on-the-level questions and then further "Hulk talk" across threads. this then led to some genuine "Hulk Vs..." threads from people trying to gauge his place in the scheme of things... a feedback loop to which the initially highly irritated Hulk-hate crowd responded with yet more, and more bizarre, "Hulk Vs..." threads.
this could be a metaphor for the way anger/stress leads to an exponential increase in strength for The Hulk! 😄
must see...
And here we have Hulk clapping a universe out of existance, punching an asteroid 2X the size of Earth and owning Superman+ level characters.

Photoshopped I daresay!
