Even if you take away E-Rifts, Extant still has a hefty advantage.

ZOMG. Hal was pwned by a rogue gaurdian. Extant would be so much worse. Aging hal to dust like he did to sentinal. Surfer would just be put inside a sun and driven mad or turned into a silver can of spam.

Something else to remember is,
Waverider destroyed his entire timeline, [far more than Surfer or Hal have ever done under their own power] -- yet he was nothing to Extant.

They have no chance at all.
