Boba Fett

I know I'll probably get some pretty "mean" posts from this but, why does everyone make such a big deal of Boba Fett? In the OT he does find Han, but Vader is the one who "captures" him. Then he is killed by a blind Han and he can't kill a tied up Jedi. And yes, he did die, while I love reading the books, Lucas killed him and so he must stay dead. Maybe he will prove himself in the next two films, but based on the OT he isn't the Bad %#*^@*$% that everyone thinks he is.

I can see why you think that JM. I haven't always been amazed by him either. Like you say, I'm sure we'll see him prove himself in the prequels.

Why is it so bad when you can't even see what he says? Its no different than if I just typed in loads of random %"£$%"$*^"£$*£^$("$(£^"()$£"$^%"*$£*%*" like that.

Now that everyone as apologized(sorry again) can we get to the bottom of to why everyone loves Boba Fett? I am just curious.

Where does it say that Boba Fett dies? He just gets swallowed up by the Sarlacc. Surely his Mandalorian armor will protect him.

And it takes 900 years to digest with the creature living off of the Sarlaac's body or something.

I just think the way that it was shown indicates that he died, he yelled then fell in the pit signifying death. If he were to survive then Lucas could have given some hint that he lived, but there was nothing

Well of course he yelled before he got swallowed. He didn't think he would ever get out ...

But he left it like that for the sequels before he canceled them.

I wonder what the sarlacc looks like beneath the sand? I bet it's this really huge thing like that space slug that swallows the Millenim Falcon.

The Sarlaac was in ROTJ.It was that creature with the beak.

Yes I know that. I meant that I wonder what the rest of its body looks like underneath the sand. All we saw was its mouth. The rest of its body is beneath the sand unseen.

DD, the Sarlaac looks just like a chicken under there.

To comment on the topic, I think Boba Fett's reputation will be built up in ep2 and 3. At least to the point where out of all those bounty hunters after the Falcon in ESB, Fett is the only one who is smart enough to think like Solo and hide in the empires jettisoned garbage.

Lucas has said that after seeing Episode 2 we will think of Boba Fett a lot differently than what we've thought of him after seeing the OT. We may actually see a softer side to him.
