Well you can do that anyways.. but it can get in the way a bit with that arm in the way on an upturned strat, when you palm mute etc.

He was rarely playing a leftie V in that Dolly Dagger clip, Cado.... you can tell by the volume and tone knobs are below the strings, like they are on a regular rightie.
