my sound isn't working

here's the deal

i installed a new vid. card, and now my sound doesn't work

the guy who fixes my computer says i need the motherboard installer disk

what do i do if i lost it?

get one from you motherboard produces website I guess.

Yeah, having similar problems. Computer has been shutting off on it's own and took the sound with it. It's happened before, but last time it restored the sound after I removed my FireWire outlet.

I don't have an email adress!
