Thanos vs Darkseid

There have been numerous threads on this subject, and even though my intention is not to add feul to the flame I think this particular match is worth examing once again. There has never really been a definitve conclusion to this...so I am hoping this thread will be the "Vs thread to end them all" So with that said here is the situation, DS and Thanos encounter one another on the spur of the momment (Like thanos and Odin). They are fighting at there maxium potential under there own power, its a fight to the death....who wins between these two super beings?

Look seriously im not looking to start shit up or anything, I just dont see why we all cant come down to a reasonable and logical conclusion. With that said I give the win to DS. Thanos might be more consistent and job as much, but DS has displayed feats that are on par with beings liek Galactus and abstract level beings. Ignoring his emabressing and jobbing feats...he would easily be able to overcome a being like Thanos.

Well were all entittled to believe what we want, but seriously DS is in a leauge of his own..im a little bit curious as to why more folks have not come to this conclusion.

Sigh, exaclty why does Thanos win. Besides a jobbing SS I dont see anything to indicate that he would beat DS for the solid majorit...on the other hand DS is capable of reaching near abstract levels under his own power. DS FTW.

Ds wins. His powers are more reality bending, time controlling, soul controlling, life and death type powers. He's as strong as superman and as tuff, and to be honest, superman has better strength feats and durability feats than Thanos. Barring Superman, DS has never lost to a top tier. Edge to DS. By a hefty Margin. Especially if you consider the food chain as it stands now. DS>>Granny>Eclipso>>Black Mary>Top tiers
