One would think it would take a lot of magic to drive away Galactus, contain a universe-threatening blast, or seal off dimensions.

I haven't seen anything from current Thor to make me think he has as much.

One would also think it would take a lot of magic, and liquor to pork Moondragon.

Current Thor isn't up to snuff. 🙂

You are right, its obvious that after controlling the Odinforce and surpassing Odin current Thor suddenly drops to a level much lower than he ever was, because you know, he took a nap; that of course without any reference to being weaker or whatsoever.

Yeah, I see how you built the perfect counter argument against my observation. Kudos.

Kyle can take Thor.

Wonder Woman can take Sue.

Gambit, Venom and Blade are insignificant.

Gambit is never insignificant 😎

Team 1. Venom would beat them all.

Are you related to Alan Moore?

You really seem to know your comics.

Silly me, what was I thinking?

OF COURSE we should just go on random speculation instead of the feats on the page.

He beat Iron Man, took a few bullets, put a crack in the ground, and did some nifty magic.

Oh, yes, he must certainly still be at 'Rune King Thor' levels.

No, but what you say supposed he was weaker. Are we supposed to think a character has become weaker because nothing has passed? Maybe from one comic to another we are supposed to think Superman cannot fly because its not stated on panel that he did not lose his ability to do so in between comics.

I mean, sure, we can assume each time a character doesn't do something he cannot, best debate strategy ever.

Now I do get your point, but seriously, defending a weak part of your argument just to save face is not the best way to discuss. Accept you picked a weak idea and move on already.
