The cool thing about this movie, and to a large degree the animated series, is that it's made much like a live-action suspense movie.In every scene, every sequence, the artists have taken the time to show us the action from multiple angles. That's something seldom seen in today's cartoons. Also, the music is much more dramatic and the content is much more mature then we would ever see in cartoons today. I mean, we see the mob boss' carcass sitting on his chair, we see the Joker get his tooth knocked out, and it's implied that Bruce and Andrea had sex. It was one my favourite movies as a kid.
