Question about Sleepaway Camp Series

I noticed there was a thread about this series from some time ago, but figured it was easier to start another one than revive an old thread that was more or less closed.

Is this series worth renting?

The first is good, and with a very twist ending.

The sequels are shit, IMO.

I understand that Bruce Springsteen's sister took over the lead role after the original.

I watched the original thanks to a very cheap DVD I got a hold of and....
that film is screwed up. *shudders*

awesome! then it was affective !

More so than a lot of other so-called horror films I have spent the past year viewing.
