Because I suck at getting people presents, and I don't really know anyone well enough to know what to get them, and I don't know how much you are supposed to spend etc..

and I hate being given presents, and am rubbish at showing my appreciation, even when I really like the gift ha-son

The only thing you have to do is scream "OH MY GOD!" very loud to show your appreciation ha-son
