Because I don't feel like I was truly invited.
my bro spoke to me on the phone yesterday and just asked me if I was going.. I said I didn't even know about it and hadn't been invited.
then he said yeah just turn up, it's an open thing and I told him I didn't want to go if I wasn't actually invited.
then he said he was only invited because he's seen Lisa (the birthday girl)
and I said I'd left her a birthday message on her facebook and she replied saying "we mist catch up soon" so surely if I was invited she would of asked me in that message!
and he said he was seeing her that night and he'd ask her to invite me
I told him not to, I don't want a pity invite!
and then later that night I got a text from Lisa inviting me.. which makes me think my brother said something anyways which makes me feel like I wouldn't have been invited otherwise which makes me not want to go.
