The infamous nypd/thanoscopter scene isn't canon. It's from a comic published by an electric company. It's no more canon that the old 'Hostess Fruit Pies' pages from older comics.
Squirrel Girl, however, is decidedly canon, though there is a modicum of debate over whether it was retconned or not.

The word, "just", is not needed in your third sentence. It adds nothing to the meaning of your sentence. Also, you should use "it" instead of "that" in the same sentence I am referring to.
I still have faith in the No Child Left Behind Act....but, that Act did not apply to you apparently.
