Atom figured out how to beat Amazo while reserving for the JLA and far easier than Bats...and it wasn't a prototype.

Batman is a far better known character...for a minor character..Atom deserves his respect.

Usually when they are in stories together...Atom is the #1 problem solver and go to guy. Most stories have Bats as the problem solver when Atom isn't around. No shame in that...both are excellent at what they do.

If Thanos lost all his powers all of a sudden and had human durability..he'd probably be mighty confused and depressed as well.
