i woudnt call wolverine a downgrade. the reason he has been surviving all these impossible truamas is becuase. he actually dies. like when nitro nuked him he actually died but becuz he beat the angel he got to come back to a fresh new body. or when he was dipped in a vat of molten lava in his last annual, he died. but now its like hopefully he doesnt get hurt badly enuff

It's not just that - Wolverine himself says that his healing factor is weaker than it's been in years.

true and that he has not felt this kinda of adrenalin in close to 100 years or some such

If it gets too weak, no big deal, he'll just solo Death again and come back with a fresh body. 😉

lol he can't the only reason he been able too is due to beating death on earth the first time now that void. I doubt death would be dumb enough to try and face him again on earth i mean there last fight Logan beat death and 2 others at once.

No wonder he needed a downgrade. 😂 That plus he stood up to WWH for several pages, the whole fight should have simply been WWH swatting him away to Alaska or the Atlantic ocean.

No thread is complete without discussing the Hulk...

.................umm not really he stould up to hulk every time they have fought.

Does Marvel think that character growth is unjust when it comes to the main guys? Most forum members certainly think. While I think it's ridiculous that Wolverine would beat the likes of Namor, I think it's completely normal for a character to grow and increase in both power and skill.

People complaining about Wolverine's healing factor, are the best. You don't see a lot of people bitchin' about Cyclops' increase in power...

funny little thing about that. It not new. It was not do to being popular. It was brought up in one of his original mini series.

love how people assume it was some crazy up grade or some new thing when in fact it almost as old as the character it self.

also it has nothing to do with that either. it has to do with the fact he popular and every one loves to hate ona certain character and Logan that scape goat. It could have easily been spiderman instead of Logan, but the reason it not is frankly due to the fact spiderman the most popular character and no one wishes to hate on the most popular, but the second most is easy game.
also the whole hand of god thing almost no one new about it untill this year when me and jinzin were discussing it. Hell you hated on logan well before you new of the hand of god bit.

as always, battlehammer, you crack me up

so people hate Wolverine specifically because he is popular but not the most popular...where do you come up with this?!?

and wolverine was not originally intended to be hand of god...if he was, prove it.

People hate Wolverine because of the annoying fanboys.

that really don't exist. It rather dumb actaully to hate something that really is not there. I mean I here that all the time and yet I see the same people not annoyed by characters who have fans many times worse.

actaully it seems to be rather accurate.

I mean the samething happen to superman. he hated on as well and he DC second most popular character if memory serves me.

it a theory of mine which you can agree on or disagree on it hardly matters.

No it was one of his original concepts for the character during it development it is not what he was originally design for since his first concept was to be a mutated wolverine lol. Nor did I say it was.

I said it was not a new thing and has been a part of the character for a very long time. Actaully the arc in which is was revealed started at wolverine issue 11.

so as you can see it quite an old concept nothing new.

No and I like for you to list at least 4 active wolverine fanboys on this forum if there so numerous.
