Well Mongul is about to get a collection of rings himself, I would wait it out.

Other than obtain knowledge from the ring -- Mongul hasn't done a damn thing with it so far...

If I recall correctly, I saw a promotional image(or preview? I don't recall which it was) of him wearing yellow, red, and blue.

I think Green was another, I wouldn't be suprized if he gets orange soon though.

I thought the Black Lanterns are going to be villains?

Considering that both Mongul and Orange Lanterns seem to be collecting rings, I would be equally unsurprised if Mongul very quickly becomes an Orange Lantern, or even the head of the Orange Lantern Corps.

I would disagree. We already have a fairly good idea of what Mongul is capable of, and a fairly good idea of what a Sinestro Corps ring is capable of.

Why is this any less admissible than "Captain America with the Power Gem" threads? Just pair the two together.
