Pred 2 used more weapons than Pred 1. Hence Pred 1 was superior.
Wolf, a warrior, is the only exception because he wasn't on a hunting trip. His sole mission was to clean up the mess his clan has caused immediately and efficiently as possible.
In Avp, it's already known that those three preds were young bloods. The pyramid was nothing more than an initiation ritual test for the young bloods on their first hunt. That's what it's built for.
So Pred 1 is the most skilled except for Wolf.

Consider the prey both predators were hunting.
Pred 1 fought one of the best elite special forces soldiers of America. Before he fought Dutch and his crew, He went up against CIA agents and Green Berets. He picked them apart one by one because he had no choice. These soldiers were highly skilled in tactics and teamwork. Pred 1 fought one of the best soldiers on earth. This pred was having a time of his life. He enjoyed it.
While Pred 2 fought punks, mobsters, gangsters, and a compulsive deranged cop.
Really there is no comparison here.

If a knife, the Yautja is supposed to fight that opponet blade to blade(Wristblades, Combi-Sticks, and Maul). If an opponet is unrmed like Dutch in Predator then in will resort to H2H. If an enemy loses his weapon during the fight or hunt the Yautja can kill the enemy with a Plasma Caster or any type of gun.
