Thanos was chosen because hes that damn good. The Spectre also failed against the Am. Hes a joke when you stack him up against Lt. Lt doesnt let superheroes let off steam by drilling him in the face. 😆

Yes his power fluctuates and it depends on the host. Spectre on his own is a dumbass who gets used by Eclipso. 😆 Spectre needs a host basically someone to guide him because hes stupid.

You are making me want to go back to herochat and ask for the scans where the Spectre was owned and stalemated by nobodies.
