All you have to do to beat Kid Buu is the same way you beat Cell. Erase every last trace of him. HV would do it pretty good, Freeze Breathe would just keep Buu from moving at all, and while I agree physical abuse wouldn't get the job done Superman has other options.

If he tried that it would end up just like Vegetto. Plus he would have to actually hit Superman with the beam to turn him into something.

Superman doesn't have ki control....

shut up idiots

Which means what? Every other person he turned into candy or cookies stayed alive why would Superman be any different? Vegetto was stronger to begin with and had the power to continue beating him while nobody else he turned into candy could have beaten him anyway.

since when ?

Vegetto was stronger to begin with and had the power to continue beating him while nobody else he turned into candy could have beaten him anyway.

because...?
oh yeah
power level ie. ki control

Since when he turned the regular people into candy they blinked and everything so they were still alive but it's not like they had the strength to do anything.

And Vegetto was stronger because of ki..Superman is stronger without but there is still the fact that even if it would work he would have to hit Superman with it..and Buu isn't exactly the smartest, and Superman is a lot faster than him.

Superman wouldn't stand a chance against Kid Buu, it's pretty simple.

* Buu can replicate any technique he's seen, after being shown just once. For example his ability to turn people to candy was something that he replicated after watching Bibidis magic. This goes to even high level techniques. In other words, the first time that Superman used heat vision, ever after that, Buu could use heat vision. Same goes for cold breath, etc..
* In the manga Kid Buu destroys the entire solar system with a blast that extends beyond the outer planets, with one shot.
* Superspeed and fighting ability, can learn fighting skills after watching them being used only once. So for example if Superman used T-Vo, Buu would also be able to use T-vo ever afterwards. So you have one of the best hand to hand fighters in the universe. Buu's speed far exceeds faster than light, and this is while fighting no less.
* Durability and flesh manipulation. Buu can stretch and move basically like Mr. Fantastic, can be blown into a hundred bits and reform himself, and his flesh is extra durable to blunt attacks. In other words Superman's punches will do little to him.
* Transmutation: Buu can transmute anybody up to and including high level beings into candy and eat them, fully gaining their abilities. There was no character that was able to resist this effect once being hit by it in DBZ. The Kaio's were basically the skyfather level beings of DBZ, the one he absorbed was Dai Kaioshin (God of the universe).
* Magic: Since Buu is basically a Demon, his attacks and techniques are formed from magic, which superman has a slight weakness to. Buu's transmutation attacks are on the highest order of magic attacks, so Buu will be able to absorb his powers no problem once he physically subdues him.

Basically Superman has no chance of winning here. The arguments in Superman vs. Goku fights don't apply with Superman vs. Kid Buu, namely the amping (time spent increasing energy level : Kid Buu starts off strong from the get-go, just like superman), physical punishment taking ability, and speed blitzing.

Superman is not faster than Kid Buu. This isn't the fat Buu from the beginning, this is Kid Buu, the form of Buu that made the fat Buu form look like a joke. The cunning, intelligent form.

Kid Buu and Cell are on different power levels. SSJ2 Gohan killed Cell with Kameamea beam. SSJ3 Goku's Kameamea was ineffective against Kid Buu.
Has Supes blown up a planet with his HV? If not then SSJ2 Kameamea>>>Supes HV.

Heat Vision would not get rid of Kid Buu, no chance in hell. Top it off with Buu being able to learn to use heat vision and cold breath once Superman uses it on him just once. Kid Buu was a genius level, he's not the big dumb idiot that fat Buu acted like.

shut up idiot hulk fanboy!!

^^ Co-signed. Fat Buu gave SSJ3 Goku a hard time and SSJ 3 Goku basically could barely keep up, and Kid Buu was on a whole other level from fat Buu. It would take planet obliterating blasts to even make Kid Buu notice Superman.

I think someone already explained it, but his absorption and transmutation are two seperate abilities. He doesn't gain a person's powers by turning them into candy.

He may be insane but he's not mindless.

Correct, he gains powers by absorbing people, the easiest method of absorption is turning them into candy first and eating them. His original method of absorption was to wrap around them and consume them. He learned the candy technique from an accomplished magic user, making the task of absorbing far easier in future encounters.

Kid Buu was not the intelligent one. He was the small, ruthless one. He destroyed the planet within seconds of coming into existence.

He was intelligent, and rated as supergenius. He destroyed the planet right from the get-go because he wasn't playing games like the other forms of Buu were.

That's not how it worked. Turning an opponent into candy is a valid way for him to win, but he won't gain any of his opponent's power that way.

Ummm, the Kai's never even begin to close on the heel's of a skyfather much less a full fledged Odin Level being.

All the Kai's combined were weaker than Odin, and titles mean nothing.

Also Buu can replicate attacks yes but he can not replicate the power on which they operate. He may be able to HV something but not at the same power level Super
