Agreed.

I much prefer Dustin Weaver and Brian Ching's artwork for KOTOR comics, much more detailed, IMO.

And how.

I hate photobucket sometimes...

Great issue KOTOR#25 is. A few scans from it.

That woman kinda looks like Bastila Shan . . .

Bit of a generic type maybe though? Dark haired woman?

It could be the lightsaber is the same color as Bastilla's too.

That is a fair point. Good spotting Hefner, that does look likely.

Who's the kid infected by the way? I'm not familiar with half these characitures.

Her name is Celeste Morn. She seems to be a decent Jedi.

As I have stated before, this manga style art sucks totally. They should stick to the art we saw in Knights Of The Old Republic - Knights Of Suffering. Decent lightsabers, decent texts.
As for Zayne being a Skywalker? I don't think so. This would mean, Skywalker kin would have some 4000 years old roots, and that is a difficult thing to comprehend, especially after one of them turned out to be a slave to an idiot on Tatooine? Strong kin makes strong people.

We don't know who was Nihilus, yet we still don't know if Zayne survived Mandalorian wars. And we for sure know that only few jedi survived the jedi civil war. Darth Nihilus was born of massacre at Malachor V by sucking up all that emptiness, that was caused in the Force there.

I can't say I follow that reasoning.

What exactly you don't understand?

Strong kin does not necessarily make strong people, is what he means.

Or the other way around, a "weak" kin can produce strong people.

I don't know. If a kin with 4000 years long history hasn't made it's place in a galaxy, then they really have screwed up at some point, while still being aware of the legacy. If somebody is aware that his/her family tree stretches for 4000 long years, then weak or not, it somewhat makes him/her strong in spirit, proud!

And a family that old would definitely haven't ran past the archives of the jedi order or Republic historians.

How do we know they haven't made a name for them in 4000 years? It's just that the name was something else.

It depends what name you are on about. If it's the Carrick name, then there well could be a long line of the gits under the radar, as well as considering the fact that they the family name might disappear, but the bloodline carries on. If it's the SKywalker name, then the same could apply, but I would personally be a little disappointed if they went for the whole "ancient-Skywalker-dynasty-angle."

But this Vector series, which I wouldn't even know how to find in Britain, looks as though any possible interesting revelations are dismissed in an attempt to create some kind of mythos for the Rahkgouls in the KOTOR game, who let's face it, were more a gameplay device than anything dramatically satisfying (as well as being a little unStarWarsy).

If anytone can be arsed to keep me, or at least a thread updated with the latest events, I'd be much obliged. I'm interested in the idea of this series, although a little disheartened that the 'link' between the stories has to be physical rather than thematic, so yeah, kaplaw.

I agree on the matter of the rahkgouls. Yes, this is more or less a backstory for the 'mysterious' Rahkgoul Plague, claiming that it was a result of Sith mutations caused by the Muur Talisman, a Sith artifact created by the Sith Lord Karness Muur.

I'm not entirely sure what angle will be taken once the Vector plotline takes us into Rebellion/Dark Times, but we do know that whatever the crew was carrying in Dark Times is related to the Muur Talisman plot and that Vader gets in on things somehow...

We'll see.

i know!

zayne is palpatine's ancestor!

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
