Jax vs Soul Calibur

Following the Edenian Canyon fiasco in which Liu Kang became Rayden's successor in protecting the planet, Major Jax Briggs goes back to work.

Along with his subordinates (Sonya, Kenshi and cyrax), they relocate the OIA to the USMC base formerly known as El Toro and rebuild. One day, Liu approaches Jax concerning a mysterious portal that has opened up on Shang Tsung's old island fortress, and asks him to investigate.

When Jax does so, he gets a lot more than he bargained for. While investigating the island, he finds a shard of an ancient weapon that is the cause of the portal.

The shard in question is that of Soul Edge.

Before Jax could figure out what has happened, he is sucked into the portal and finds himself centuries in Earthrealm's past...during the time where various factions are gunning for Soul Edge and Soul Calibur.

Thinking that finding the sword could lead him home, Jax joins in the fray. Scoffing at the suggesion of using a weapon, Jax's bionic arms are his weapons.

Will Jax fight his way back home? Or will be a footnote to history?

With Super Powers like Nightmare and Olcadan running around, Jax gets killed by his ansestor Zasalamel.

Seriously can't expect someone with metal arms to beat guys with swords and stuff, but then Heihachi did OK.

Best chance is if he happens upon Talim first, punches her in her huge eyes that could probably accomodate a fist, and steals her tonfas.

Not sure which universe's rules will apply. Soul Calibur people have never been cut before, let alone had their spines ripped out.
