Gets no respect.

Underrated to the max.

Almost cooler than 'effin Hayabusa.

Has a hot Jap/German chick (who acts like a teeny bopper in DOA4, watch her ending and even look at her fighting stance, lmfao) is a master of ninjutsu and karate, has a devastating projectile attack, blinding speed and is one of the coolest and best in DOA...respect the dude.

And he appeared in TWO endings in DOA4.

Earliest showing of Hayate before DOA1. Late in the video he is seen performing the Torn Sky Blast on Raidou, a ninja who apparently is able to copy techniques even before they're performed. Also notice how fast Raidou attacks with just a hand. Raidou was the boss in the first DOA.

Hayate in DOA3's intro. Near the end he is seen disabling a soldier while invisible, and then appears to disable the remaining soldier. It doesn't take more than a single hit to put these guys to sleep. Also notice his good aim, which is better demonstrated in the video following this one.

Hayate ambushes a DOATEC swat team, using physical abilities, speed, and skill with his arsenal to take them down. Later he takes down an aircraft.
